OUR STORY
Since 2009, we have been working in a rural community in Quetzaltepeque, El Salvador: preaching the Gospel and making disciples. We have seen several families come to know Christ, and had the privilege of baptising some of them. We have also been able to repair several homes, offer food and clothing, employment, and informal "scholarships" for at-risk-children and youth.
We have also worked alongside other local non-profits, churches, and children's homes, sharing resources, encouraging, counselling and learning from one another. We always work within Salvadoran law, with outsourced Salvadoran lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers, etc.
Between 2012-2014, we built 5 aquaponics systems throughout the country as a "tent-building" initiative to cover some operational and construction costs. We have trained over 20 local farmers in sustainable, organic, aquaponics - providing food to hundreds of people.
With the help of faithful, new, and expanding networks of ministry partners, it is our goal to build our first residential building in 2019.

Founders
The Father's Heart Foundation was incorporated as Fundacion Corazon Del Padre in El Salvador in 2009, we received non-profit status in 2010.

Our Team
Since 2009 we have worked with over 50 missionary teams, networked with other local non-profit organizations, churches, and individuals, and benefited from hundreds of hours of volunteer labour. We have also hosted several interns and short term missionaries from all over the world.

As we continue to slowly establish this ministry in El Salvador, we are now expanding our team...
"Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.” (Matt. 10:41,42)

"He [Jesus] told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." (Luke 10:2)
What we Believe
We believe in BEING the Church
The Father's Heart Foundation is made up of a growing body of believers, living out their faith together. We are non-denominational, born-again Christians. Our founders, directors, and staff members are all members of and accountable to different International churches. We have a congregation that meets together to worship and to study God's Word together.
So, what beliefs and values does The Father's Heart Foundation as an organization hold to? Click the link below to read our 7 Core Values, and to get a glimpse into what we believe about God and His Word.
What about the local Salvadoran Church? We have reached out to the local church and have a healthy working relationship with a few Salvadoran pastors and their congregations. If you would like to know more about how we strive to work with the local church, then please contact us. For more about our church and community outreach, take a look at our Initiatives page.
